Our focus is on cosmetic dentistry services, such as dental implants and dental veneers, but we also offer general dentistry and orthodontics. Our general dentists and specialists have received their training from many of the nation’s prestigious educational and dental institutions. It’s our doctors’ skilled combination of art and science that has made Weymouth Dental Associates one of New England’s most respected cosmetic dental practices. As a group dental practice, we offer everything from preventive care and general dentistry to sophisticated dental reconstructions.
Meet the Dentists
Jessica McPherson (Isenberg), DDS
Jessica McPherson (Isenberg), DDS, knew she wanted to be a dentist since she was sixteen years old. She completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX in 2005. In 2009, she graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
She completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry with the United States Air Force in 2010, along with a short course in Endodontics and Exodontics. Dr. McPherson served proudly in the US Air Force as a general dentist for five years. She has been stationed in Virginia, Oklahoma, South Korea, and Germany.
Dr. McPherson enjoys working with each patient to derive a treatment plan that will individually suit patients’ needs, wants, and desires. Her additional training in oral surgery and endodontics helps her to provide a multitude of dental services.
Dr. McPherson is a member of the American Dental Association. In her free time, Dr. McPherson enjoys swimming, cooking, shooting skeet, and exploring new places with her husband and their dogs.
Blake Rogers, DMD
Dr. Blake Rogers completed a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine where he graduated magna cum laude. Prior to dental school he received a degree in psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Rogers completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. During the residency, he became skilled in treating patients with medical complications and gained further training in endodontics, implantology, and oral surgery.
His memberships include the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts and New York State Dental Associations, and the Academy of Implant Dentistry. His philosophy on dental treatment is to provide patients with high quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxed setting where they can express their own dental goals.
In his free time, Dr. Rogers enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, playing and watching soccer, and working on his latest homebrew.
Dr. Sean Collins, DMD
Dr. Sean Collins graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 2011 and has since received considerable postgraduate training in dental implants, root canal therapy and periodontal maintenance. He remains passionate about ongoing education and is dedicated to providing the very best dental care for his patients.
Additionally, Dr. Collins is a certified Invisalign provider. From a general checkup to advanced services like replacing missing teeth, maintaining gum health, or teeth straitening, Dr. Collins is serious about understanding the best care options for his patients.
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Collins resides in Braintree with his wife, Emma, and their dog, Cooper. He remains a big fan of University of Michigan sports teams and enjoys playing sports himself, watching movies and indulging in friendly trivia game.
Dr. John Govostes, DMD
Dr. Govostes received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire and then went to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received his dental degree (DMD) and then later his specialty training in Periodontology. Dr. Govostes is a Board Certified Peiodontist.
Dr. Govostes limits his clinical practice to the field of Periodontics which focuses on patient education as well as the preservation of teeth through various non-surgical and surgical therapy modalities in the treatment of gum diseases (periodontitis), as well as implant dentistry and the treatment of other oral pathologic conditions associated with the mouth. The various services offered but not limited to, are the: reduction of gingival pocketing, cosmetic correction of recession and reconstruction with various gum grafting techniques, removal of hopeless teeth, replacement of missing or hopeless teeth with dental implants, as well the augmentation of bone which is often times needed for future dental implant placement.
Dr. Govostes is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Massachusetts Society of Periodontics, the Massachusetts Dental society, as well as a member of Delta Sigma Delta organization which is an International Dental Fraternity. Dr. Govostes has served the public by working in community dental clinics in Colorado as well as volunteering for Dental missions to Quito, Ecuador where he treated the underprivileged community. He also serves as a guest lecturer at the Yankee Dental Convention in Weymouth, MA. Dr. Govostes concerns himself with his patients’ comfort, relaxation, and education as well as the quality of care he provides.
Tevyah Dines, DMD
Tevyah J. Dines, D.M.D. is a third generation dentist following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.
Dr. Dines graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1997 and then completed a three year endodontic training program at Harvard which included patient care, biomedical research, and teaching. In addition to his endodontic certificate, Dr. Dines also earned a Master’s degree in oral biology and upon graduation was awarded the prestigious Krakow Award for outstanding research, clinical achievement, and professionalism in postdoctoral endodontics at Harvard University. Dr. Dines is an active member of several professional organizations and in 2008 was selected to participate in the American Association of Endodontists first Emerging Leaders Workshop. He now serves on the Board of Directors for the association. Dr. Dines is a part time clinical endodontic instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
